New (to me) bike has arrived and had it's first outing, which was also my first solo ride. Before the first outing the bike did need some work. When I initially looked at it the owner at the time couldn't start it. I bought it effectively as a non-runner hoping that all it needed was a battery. One battery later and it is now running correctly. The bike itself is a 2020 Yamaha YS125 which I bought with about 7,700 mile on it. The YS125 is the updated version of the YBR125 which I did my CBT on. I wasn't massively tied to that model, but this one came up at a decent price, and included a top-box and security bits (chain, disc lock and an unused ground anchor. There is some damage from where the bike has previously been dropped but at least that means that I won't be the first persion to put marks on it.
